Bundoora Homestead Art Centre has a unique proposition. It is built on lands of the Wurunjderi Woi-wurrung people who have lived and shared culture on country for 60,000 years.
The art centre is housed in a heritage mansion that has served as a family home, a repatriation mental hospital, and a site for internationally significant medical discoveries. It is home to a verdant garden, a sanctuary for magnificent birdlife. It is are a contemporary art gallery, a cafe, a place to make and learn, a community space. It is all these things. These are its origins. This is what it builds from.
Bundoora Homestead Art Centre maintains excellent disability access including a lift, on-site car parking and is situated close to public transport.
