During National Pet Adoption Day on Saturday 15 February, pet rescue organisations will pay a visit to PETstock stores across Melbourne and Victoria with homeless animals to help them find forever homes.
The initiative led by PETstock’s charity foundation PETstock Assist, and its major not-for-profit partner, PetRescue, urges would-be pet owners to think more responsibly about pet ownership by reconsidering their buying options to help break the cycle of pet homelessness.
All pets available for adoption receive up-to-date vaccines, are desexed and have undergone a full health assessment. Pet adoption experts from local rescue groups will also be in attendance to answer any questions and assist with the adoption process.
Pets of all sizes, breeds and ages will be up for adoption. Whether you are looking for a four-legged fur-ball or something with scales, you are bound to find the perfect fit for your family.
